Laurel Springs

This year will be my 3rd year at Laurel Springs. In two years my lease increased by $100. I just received a letter regarding renewing my lease. They want to increase my rent another $35. Maintenance is NOT GOOD at all. I have a guest toilet that they have supposedly fixed several times and still will not flush completely the first time. Instead of repairing the cracks in the tile, they painted the bathroom floor and it peels. I have at least 5 spots under the carpet throughout the apartment that are very week. You sink a little when you walk over them. I have put in a maintenance request and did not see or hear from anyone for a week. I called to verify that they got the request and got an excuse, an apology and a promise that they would be out soon. It has now been 3 months, NO MAINTENANCE. But they did come in to change the air filter. I have given up. I am just doing my time and I am getting out. Not to mention over the last 6 months, I question the type of people that are moving in. They wash their cars in the parking lot taking up serveral spaces and leaving trash behind. The people do this because they claim to have a car wash area, but it hasn't had a working faucet for over a year. the new tenants sit outside on the walkway steps so you have to walk around them. This place is going down fast.
