ok i have been living in lenoxplace since april 2007. EVERYTHING SEEMED OK AT FIRST BUT QUICKLY WENT DOWN THE DRAIN. A FEW THINGS TO POINT OUT, THE OVERALL APPEARANCE LOOKS OK UNTIL YOU ACTUALLY MOVE THERE. THE FIRST DAY I MOVED IN WHICH WAS ON A SATURDAY MY TOILET IN THE BATHROOM OVERFLOWED WATER RAN ALL THE WAY TO MY CARPET, I CALLED THE OFFICE AND WAS TOLD MAINTENANCE ONLY WORKED IN EVENT OF AN EMERGENCY, AN THIS WAS VERY WELL AN EMERGENCY TO ME SO I TOLD THE MGR MY PROBLEM AND SHE TOLD ME THEY WOULD "TRY" TO GET TO ME ON MONDAY B/C THEY GUY ON CALL WAS BUSY FIXKIN FURNACES AND MUCH BIGGER PROBLEMS HER ADVICE TO ME WAS TO CUT OFF THE TOILET. SO I SPENT MY FIRST DAY CLEANING MY BATHROOM FLOOR RUINED ALL MY TOWELS. THERE ARE REALLY BAD SNAKES IN THE AREA, I LIVE ON THE 2ND FLOOR AND I HAVE HAD TO CALL THE COPS AT LEAST 3 TIMES TO REMOVE SNAKES FROM MY DOOR. THE OFFICE DOES NOTHING TO GET RID OF PROBLEM, EVEN THOUGH I KNOW ITS WELL BEYOND THERE CONTROL BUT I SUGGESTED HAVING SULFUR OR MOTHBALLS PUT DOEN AROUND THE BUILDING. OK HERES WHEN IT ALL WENT WRONG. ITS SUPPOSEDLY A "GATED" COMMUNITY. 1ST OFF THE GATES HAVE BEEN MESSED UP SINCE IVE LIVED THERE ITS FOR APPEARANCE ONLY. ANYWAY NORMALLY THE OFFICE WILL KEEP THE GATES OPEN AT NIGHT. NOW THE GATES ARENT WORKING AT AL AND THE CALL BOX FOR GUEST TO ENTER ISNT WORKING AS WELL, AND ALL OF A SUDDEN THEY WANNA LOCK ALL 3 GATES WHEN THE SYSTEM IS DOWN. ANYWAYS MY GATE KEY HASNT WORKED SINCE I LIVED HERE AND I WENT TO THE OFFICE CONSTANTLY TO GET THEM RENEWED..AFTER A 100 TIMES I JUST SAID ---- IT I WILL CALL MY PHONE FROM THE GUEST BOX TO ENTER THE GATE...WELL THAT WAS MY STRATEGY TO GETN INSIDE THAT IS UNTIL THE GATES HAD A GLITCH IN THE SYSTEM ACCORDING TO THE OFFICE. I WENT THERE AND ASKED FOR A NEW KEY ONCE AGAIN YESTERDAY NOW THAT THE GUESTS CALL BOX DIDNT WORK. THEY RENEWED MY KEY, AND I WENT STRAIGHT OUTSIDE TO THE BOX TO TRY AND GET IN AND IT DIDNT WORK. HOWEVER I WENT BACK TO THE OFFICE AND EXPRESSED MY OPINION ABOUT THE GATE. FOR A WEEK AND A HALF I HAD TO SIT AT THE GATE AND WAIT FOR OTHER TENANTS WHO HAD WORKING KEYS TO LET ME IN AFTER THEM, I SAT IN THE COLD FOR ALMOST AN HOUR AT 2AM IN THE MORNING BECAUSE I COULNT GET IN THE GATE. IM NOT ONE TO CMPLAIN I JUST TAKE THINGS AS IS AND RUN WITH IT. BUT THIS GATE INCIDENT REALLY GOT ME GOING BECAUSE IT IS RIDICULOUS. IVE NEVER IN MY LIFE LIVED LIKED THIS AND IM FROM ONE OF THE ROUGHEST SECTIONS IN THE BRONX NY AND I LIVE LUXURIOUS IN THE CRAMPY LOOKING BUILDING THAN WHAT I HAVE EVERED IN THIS BUILDING.WHEN I WENT INTO THE OFFICE I WASNT RUDE OR LOUD OR DISRESPECTFUL IN ANY WAY BUT THE WHITE PROPERTY MGR WAS IN THE BACK OFFICE MAKING SMART COMMENTS. SHE WAS LIKE YOU NEED TO LOWER YOUR VOICE IN MY OFFICE ITS NOT THAT SERIOUS, SO I SAID WHOEVER YOU ARE IN THE BACK TALKING PLEASE COME OUT AND SHE DID AND CAM DIRECTLY AND STOOD IN FRONT IF MY FACE AND SAID SO WHAT THE GATES ARENT WORKING GET OVER IT(YELLING WHILE SHE WAS SAYING THIS) I WAS APALLED AT HER BAHVIOR KEEP IN MY SHES THE MGR. SO WE GOT INTO A BIG ARGUMENT ME AND MY COUSIN HAD TO BE DRAGGED OUT OF THE OFFICE I ACTUALLY MUSHED THE MGR IN THE HEAD BEFORE BEING PULLED AWAY AND TOLD HER I DARE HER TO CALL THE COPS WHICH SHE DIDNT B/C SHE WAS WRONG FOR GETTING IN MY FACE FIRST. I THEN ASKED THE OTHER LADIES FOR THE OWNERS NUMBER AND OF COURSE NO ONE DIDNT KNOW HIS NAME AND OR NUMBER. THE ONLY ONE I COULD TALK TO WAS COLIE THE PROPERTY MGR THE ONE I HAD JUST GOT INTO THE BRAWL WITH.COLIE IS A STUPID WHITE B%%CH, SHE SHOULDNT BE MANAGING NO RENTAL PROPERTIES SHE DOES A BAD JOB AND HAVE A BAD ATTITUDE WITH THE PAYING TENANTS AS WELL... THESE APARTMENT ARENT WORTH THE 735$ A MONTH. IM IN THE PROCESS OF HAVING THE COMPLEX INVESTIGATED AS I TYPE. CLOIE STRAIGHT VIOLATED AND SHES GONNA PAY AND WISH SHE NEVER STEPPED IN THIS ANGRY TENANTS FACE. THE OTHER 2 LADIES AT THE OFFICE ARE NICE. AND BESIDES THAT IM SURE CLOIE HAS NO PROBLEMS GETTING INTO THE GATE BEING THAT THE B@@@& LIVES OUT THERE AS WELL. IM BREAKING MY LEASE AND THERES NOTHING THEY CAN DO TO STOP ME. DO NOT RENT HERE EVER. TE APARTMENTS ARE REALLY NICE AND VERY SPACIOUS WHEN U LOOK AT THEM, BUT AS SOON AS YOU SIGN THE LEASE THE PROBLEMS BEING. MAINTENANCE ARE FLIRTACIOUS INSTEAD OF FIXIN THINGS THEY TRY TO GET BOOTY. ALOT OF THINGS ARE WRONG IN MY HOME, BUT I HAVE ALOT OF VALUABLE THINGS AND I HAVENT CALLED MAINTENANCE. BESIDES THAT THEY NEVER COME WHEN YOU CALL, THEY ALWAYS POP UP RANDOMLY 4-5 DAYS AFTER YOUR COMPLAINT EARLY IN THE MORNING WHEN YOURE SLEEPING AND OR NAKED NOT GIVING YOU ENOUGH TIME TO GET TO THE DOOR. PARKING IS HORRIBLE ON MY SIDE. I LIVE IN THE SAME BUILDING AS ALOT OF YOUNG PEOPLE AND PARTY PEOPLE SO THEY HAVE GUEST OVER ALL THROUGH THE WEEK CAUSING ME TO HAVE TO WALK A MILE TO MY BUILDING. THE GYM IS A MESS NEVER HARDLY OPENED, AND THE FITNESS CENTER CONSIST OF 3 EQUIPMENTS 2 OF WORKING IS NEVER WORKING. THE LAUNDROMAT TAKES YOUR MONEY...THE NEIGHBORHOOD IS PRETTY MUCH QUIET SOME NIGHTS, WELL TO ME ANYWAY BEING THAT I DONT HAVE TO PUT UP WITH THE NOISE FROM THE CITY BUT THE COPS ARE THERE 24/7. THIS PLACE REMINDS ME MUCH OF A PROJECT AND UPPERCLASS ONE THAT IS YOU KNOW...ITS DEFINETELY SECTION 8 BOUND, AN I DO NOT SEE ENHANCEMENT IN THE FUTURE THAT COMPANY AND OWNER. USE YOUR OWN JUDGEMENT AND FOLOOW YOUR HEART, IM JUST GIVING YOU SOMETHING TO DEFINETELY THINK ABOUT WHEN CONSIDERING LENOXPLACE. THE MODELS ARE TO DIE FOR BUT LOOK BEYOND THOSE THINGS THEY SHOW YOU WHEN GIVING YOU THE WALK THROUGH. THE MGR IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL(CLOIE) THE OTHER LADIES ARE KIND. BUT LSITEN TO WHAT I SAID BEFORE GETTING YOURSELF INTO A BAD SITUATION, YOU WILL BE BETTER OFF GOING TO CHAVIS HEIGHTS GETTING AN APARTMENT. RESPONSE FROM EDITOR: I KNOW HOW TO SPELL, WAS AT WORK RUSHING AND IN A HURRY WHILE TYPING, WHICH ONLY TOOK ME 3 MINS TO TYPE ALL THAT, AND NO I DIDNT PROOFREAD SO THERE YOU HAVE ERRORS...BUT IF YOU HAVE COMMON SENSE, YOU WOULD BE ABLE TO READ BETWEEN THE LINES FOR THE LOVE OF GOD IF YOU WANNA BE TOOKEN SERIOUSLY!!!!

bronx you are so right. that choloe chick is CRAZY!!! SHE NEEDS TO BE PUT IN A MENTAL INSTITUTION!!! i am planning on getting a lawsuit against them. they have screwed up my lease too many times and they keep adding money on to what i owe each month. everyone don't get paid on the first. but, anyway, lenox #$^$place sucks. NEVER LIVE THERE. I WISH I COULD PUNCH THAT CHLOE CHICK IN THE MOUTH, WHITE TRASH IS WHAT SHE IS!!!!

I too am a tenant but I would like for all of us that have been done worngly and want justice to get together as a joint effort to get the opportunity to stop Lenoxplace! I am so tired of the security deposit drama, the lawsuits, the rude Manager, and the unsafe feeling of a convicted sex offender as the maintainence worker, etc.!!!
