I've been living at Lenoxplace for one year now. Since my lease is up, I am moving. As fast as I can. An honest opinion of Lenoxplace' Starting with the management... I've had few direct problems with the management. In fact, I had just met the manager within the last week (on negative terms no less). Having never met the woman before, she approached me with an attitude (I had just walked in on a screaming match between a resident and herself). She is condescending and rude, continuously talks over anyone involved in a conversation, is rigid and convinced she is always right and her tenants are always wrong.

The office staff are nice enough, but have made mistakes affecting my rent payment ("losing" payments), and have FAILED to get maintenance staff to action issues with apartments (I have had wasp nests above my apartment's front door since I moved in 12 months ago--no one has made any attempt to clear them despite REPEATED requests made to the office). There are also sexual harassment complaints pending against one of the maintenance workers--one of the men who has keys to your apartment.

The apartments are in a rough neighborhood, and while the prices are competitive, they are too high for the Garner area, as well as what you receive in return for renting here. The area is slimy--lots of guns, drugs and cops.

If you see anything good about living here, by all means go ahead. But I would never rent here again, never recommend this community to anyone, and if I could go back, I would have chosen anywhere but here to live.

I live there and I will be honest enough to say that I have dropped cash in the rental box and the staff was kind enough to return every penny!! I think many people have negative opinions about Chloe but please do not discredit the property because of her. This complex also has an advantage that there is only one utility to pay. That is a PLUS and I have been late for atleast 11 months and NEVER been taken to court.My building alcove is infrequently cleaned but I attribute that to the nasty tenants that trash the place!BAD NEIGHBORHOOD?? not true, bad tenants!! The place aint bad, its the folks moving in and bringing the "hood mentality" and roaches. That aint management, its the folks!!I woulnt just be afraid of the "Sex Offenders", I'd be scared of some of the folks and their wierd looking guest!!

I agree with every word of the original review. I will never recommend to friends or even enemies.
