Don't be jaded. When I moved into The Links I believed it was a great place to live because it is well maintained and on a golf course but after living there for a while I realized I was wrong. There is a lot of crime in the area. People break into cars and apartments all the time. People also creep around outside of apartments. Lighting is very bad especially in between buildings. It is very close to the "ghetto" which may have a lot to do with it. The walls are thin so you can always hear your neighbors music and talking. While they have alot of visitor parking, it is not strictly enforced on who parks in visitor and non-visitor spots. I have had a perpetual problem with ants and there has been a leak in my roof for about a month that has yet to be fixed. My neighbors are nice and there are children who play outside which is nice. The Links is not really worth the money and it is deffinately not worth being scared to go outside at night.
