Overall A Nice Place To Live

This is the first apartment complex I lived in when I moved to Raleigh. I will do my best to describe my experience here.

The complex itself is very well maintained and is very quiet at all hours of the day and night. Parking is ample. A nice thing about these apartments is that each apartment is a different "address" if you will. Instead of the usual XXXX Street Apt. 2, your address would be 7213 Something Lane and the next apartment would be 7216 Something Lane. No apartment numbers are used because each apartment is a different number. (I hope I am explaining this clearly).

I found the office staff to be very nice and they knew me by name.

I witnessed no crimes while I lived here nor did I hear about anything major. I never heard about any vehicle thefts.

A few things that I didn't like about my stay here involved the layout of the apartment itself. Everything is pretty much one big room. There are no hallways or any seperation. When sitting in the living room you can see everyting right there in front of you. Another thing that I didn't like was how the bathrooms were set up. The sink and mirror were outside of the bathroom itself and more or less in your bedroom. I know it is like that for the second bathroom but I can't remember if it is like that for the main bathroom.

I also had a few maintenance issues that took a few times to get fixed and I don't think it was fixed properly before I moved out. We had a problem with a water leak in our apartment. I first noticed it when the carpet in front of the "bathroom" sink in the bedroom became very wet. The leak spread throughout the whole apartment. The maintenance staff attempted to fix it once and it was fine for a few days and the leak started again. This time it was worse.

To make matters worse they didn't give us our full security department back because there was damage to our carpet...!!!

Aside from the maintenace issue and not liking the layout it was a pleasant place to live. I have lived in worse complexes, trust me!
