What a lousy place to live.....

My husband and I moved into Madison Glenn after our wedding. The apartments look great from the model. We even got to live in a brand new unit! After the first month, we were asking how to get out of our lease. There is NO closet space. The neighborhood feels like the ghetto. Our neighbors threw their Christmas tree away in June...it was orange and just hanging out on the back deck. Think that's a fire hazard' We did! Parking stinks. There must be a lot of people unemployed because I couldn't even find a parking space at lunch time sometimes!!! Don't expect to sleep, either. The walls are so thin, you can hear your neighbors breath! Our neighbor had bronchitis, and we couldn't sleep for weeks until he recovered enough to not cough all night long! And when he wasn't coughing...the kids outside were screaming. We now pay LESS rent for about 300 more square feet in a much nicer place. The location is great, but look around. You can get much better deals right across the street. Before you move in, check it out closely and be sure that it is something that you REALLY want to get into....

I just looked at these apartments and the mangement seems to be very nice and I was told not only did he live there but the manager did to. I came the first time when no one was in the office and talk to several familys while they were at the pool and they seemed to be very nice. I did not see a lot of kids running around and it was the middle of the day and parking seemed not to be an issue. However, when I saw the apartment noone was home so I'm not sure about the noise level, which to me is a big issue. I plan on moving from NY and taking an apartment here and I'm concerned about the noise! Can anyone comment on this issue that lived there or lives there now?
