I was somewhat surprised by the reviews of this apartment complex. I've rented a very spacious 1-bedroom for almost a year now. The price is unbeatable at $450/month, and there is just about any store you can imagine within a few minutes drive.

I personally am not aware of any crime in or around the complex (not to say that it doesn't exist), and I've never felt threatened walking around at night. There is more than enough parking, but it's not gated so I could imagine people being a little apprehensive with that aspect. It is an older complex, so it has seen better days. However, my stove and fridge were no more than a few years old, if that.

Overall, I was happy with my stay here, although I will be moving out soon, mostly because I want more of a "young professionals just graduated" type of community. It's not perfect, but it was hardly as negative an experience as most everyone else is making it out to be.
