Mariner's Crossing was a very peaceful envirnoment for me. There was minimal noise and I felt my safety was secure at all hours. Unfortunately the parking situation is comperable to a day trip to Disney World, where in which a trolley service is (essentially) needed to get someone to their doorstep. Also, the rental office has a contractual agreement with a local towing company for illegally parked cars. On one instance, A visiting friend of mine frustrated by the parking situation, chose to park curbside. He prevented the tow (before the driver drove off) and was forced to pay fifty dollars cash out-of-pocket if he wanted his car released. Needless to say, owning a car and residing at Mariner's crossing is NOT ideal. There is a bus stop for city transit within a short walk from all apartment units but the route is simply a connector route and multiple bus transfers are necessary for most city-wide locations. Persons interested in renting at Mariner's Crossing have to ask themselves if all this mess is worth anything. There are a ton of renting options in the immediate area which provide ample parking options at more reasonable monthly rates.
