has it's pros and cons

the apartments in this complex aren't bad. i have not minded my time here. you will get pretty much the standard fare as far as NC complexes go... the tan carpet, the white walls, the cheap plastic toilet seats. the buildings seem well kept, sturdy, etc. nothing special, but nothing really wrong with construction. maintenance sometimes doesnt fix things right the first time, but i have found this is standard for all apartments around here for the most part. they are timely in responding, though.
the apartments with garages are a nice touch. kinda cool having those stairs up (if you're on the top level) and the little storage area as well as the garage to store things in
having a sure spot to park is definitely nice because otherwise parking can be very annoying. after around 6pm, you might have to park on the opposite side of the complex. with the garage apartments, you typically have the garage as well as the little driveway in front to park, so it hasnt been a huge issue with this building.
the noise level can be a problem, but not huge. for some people this may be fine, but the thing is that on the garage side of the complex, there seems to be a little community. many people seem to know one another and hang outside with each other in their garages quite a bit. the problem is that they can be kinda noisy into the night. we sometimes hear doors slamming and people talking (even yelling) after midnight... particularly on weekend nights. but if you like to drink beer and play darts in a garage, that setting may be right for you.
the grounds are nothing special... it's mostly just a winding parking lot with very few trees and a tiny bit of landscaping. there are a lot of dogs, so crap can be a problem. i also hate that there is no outgoing mailbox! no major complaints overall however.
safety has not been much of an issue. i think we got a notice once about cars getting broken into one night, but i have felt safe walking through the parking lot at night and have accidentally left the garage open when leaving with no problems.
the office staff are all nice and friendly, but sometimes seem a little lost with facts about leasing and such. we have been on the wrong end of errors at times concerning month-to-month leasing and stuff like that. plus, sometimes they will be gone before closing time and this can stink when you are trying to pick up a package.
avoid month-to-month if at all possible... charging your market rate plus extra is ridiculous! (1150 per month stayed for the 2BR garage)
overall, not a great place to stay, but not awful. i would not recommend it... there are better, quieter places to stay
