I have lived in 6 different apartment complexes and never have I been so disrespected by a staff as I was at Mariners Crossing. Where do I begin... I guess with sanitation- I lived on the first floor and the tenants above me had 2 dogs who used the patio as their bathroom. My patio was stained yellow from all of the dog piss. My furniture out there was ruined and I never even got to sit out on my patio the entire year I lived there. I begged the management at least once or twice a week for over 4 months to have my porch cleaned. Their advice to me was to take the tenants above me to small claims court! ARE YOU KIDDING ME' COURT!' THERE WAS DOG $HIT AND PISS ALL OVER MY FURNITURE AND PATIO AND THEY DIDN'T WANT TO HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH IT! If I had more time on my hands I would have taken Mariners Crossing to court and sued the hell out of them, and WON. Unfortunately I did not have the time nor money to do that and this forum is the best way I can warn people about this complex. Also, PARKING SUCKS! They have more than twice as many apartments than they do spaces. The walls are paper thin, I could hear conversations... loud music I can understand but conversations that's ridiculous. Talk about NO privacy. The same tenants above me also put a comforter in their washing machine which caused it to over flow and I had 2 inches of water in my kitchen and living room. The water was dripping from my light fixture, I'm lucky when I came home I wasn't electricuted. The staff promised someone would come by to steam clean the carpets but of course no one ever came. Then had the nerve to charge me for stains on my carpet. I had over $600 in fines when I left. It's been over 2 years since I've lived there and it still erks me to this day. I came across this website today and couldn't pass up the oppurtunity to warn people about this place. PLEASE DO NOT RENT HERE!!!!!!! I'M WARNING YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The sad thing is I have lived any many apartment communities. Allot of this is the rental industry. Its misfortunate that somone above you had the issue, but did you ever think that you could say somthing to them. If you bought a house would you go to the relator and tell them that the people next to you annoy you and you want them to do somthing about it. People need to learn in life to take responsibility for some of their own things that happen around them, problem solving is a great step in life. Instead we tend to forget that and want other people to deal with our problems. Trust me I delt with a former neighbor in my past place, I kept calling the landlord, then when I whent over there and talked to them it made them feel like they weren't getting tattled on like we were kids. The problem was handled and taken care of and we had a good relationship since.

You rent through an apartment complex dipshit so you dont have to have the entire responsibility in dealing with your neighbors alone. The management of the property is supposed to ensure that things like whats listed above does not happen.
