Been living here for about a year. I've written reviews of 4 previous places, so this makes the 5th. I give Mariners Crossing a big thumbs up; making it only the 2nd positive review I've given.

The staff here is way better than almost any place you'll find. Extremely helpful, always asking if there's something they can do to help you. Maintenance actually comes quickly, which is different than a lot of places. Recently renewed lease and also got an upgrade- track lighting in kitchen. We probably just got lucky, but when we moved in there was a TV in the kitchen and cable (which we don't pay for- hehee. Again, probably just lucky in that respect). Rent is very reasonable.

A previous review spent the whole time complaining about an upstairs neighbor. That's not the complex's fault or responsibility. Take it up with the a-hole upstairs. BTW, to that reviewer, you'd lose in small claims court trying to sue the complex for the upstairs dog pissing on the porch and dripping on to your porch. You would have to go after the a-hole upstairs. Want free legal advice'' I've got 2 free lawyers in my family. I have an upstairs neighbor who make noise occasionally. That's my only complaint, but here's the thing- that's not the complex's fault. It's the upstairs neighbor's fault only!!

I stop by the main office pretty often just to get myself a free cup of coffee. When I bring my dog in, they always give him a treat. The gym is OK. Certainly not a replacement for a gym membership if you lift weights, but no place is. Plus there's a pretty good car wash area.

Parking can be a very small pain. You may have to walk 50-100 yards to get to your building if it's late at night. Oh no!!! The sky is falling!! If that's too much, move into the apartments closer to the main entrance. They tend to have a lot more open spaces.

Overall, Mariners Crossing is great. Extremely friendly staff who genuinely seem to want to help, maintenance is fast and actually gets thing done right. Great location, nice looking inside and out. I was shocked at how low rent was. It seems some people like to make mountains out of molehills. I highly recommend these to anyone who wants a good value.
