Hi to everyone! After living in Mariners Crossing for a couple of years I'm trying to get the hell up out of there! Let me count the ways of how ghetto this place is....For starters you here all kinds of noises at all hours of the night, I actually had a neighbor who I didn't know walk down the stairs completely drunk and completely naked and let me tell you it wasn't pretty.... We have had 2 people die, several car break ins, two gun incidences where people witnessed a teenager dry firing a gun and who guessed it but 4 fires! There is mold in the apartments that the office has been called on many times that NO ONE has come over to take care of, I actually started taking the paint off the walls around the windows and you wont believe it but they painted over mold! Lets see, what else....oh yes when you renew your leases the office will tell you that you will get upgrades like new blinds, carpet cleaning, new sink appliances, and yet you will receive nothing! I love my view of the parking lot and all the unattended children screaming at all hours of the day and weekends, it's so relaxing...The garages are not sealed properly so when it rains expect a flood in your garage with no reimbursement and no one fixing the situation. I could keep going on but my point is find some where else to live if your looking because we are!

You have lived at Mariner's Crossing for years yet it says years at apartment:2008-2008? Imagine that, noises at night, Mariner's Crossing is adjacent to one of the busiest roads in Raleigh. How did you see someone walk down the stairs? Can you see through your door?! 2 people die and 4 fires? Huh, the Raleigh Police Department doesn't have any records of this (you can find anything on Google). I have had no problems with maintenance coming when I have a problem. And when I resigned my lease the last time, I got my carpet cleaned for free! This time around, we got $150 off Januray rent. There are problems with every apartment complex; why not just buy a house? This is the time to do so.

I dont know about the deaths but I personally witnessed the gun fire from my balcony and the cops were notified of the incident. I have had notices placed on my door blaming my roomate and I for fires from fireworks that were set off by random unattended children. The management was quick to apologize for the mix up however we did not receive our upgrades after multiple attempts to get out carpets cleaned...
why are you so quick to defend the complex? you must be one of the a-holes that work the front.

I have lived here for over two years and have resigned my lease 3 times and have never recieved one upgrade to my apartment. Discount on rent, you make me laugh. I have never recieved one discount on rent besides the great deal that I was getting when I first signed my lease. Instead of paying over $750 for a one bedroom apartment, they generously dropped the price to $625. That was when I first moved here. Now it is up to $690. They are slowly inching there way up. 2 people have died, and one of them was a good friend of mine. And as far as fires go, it was not hard to see the flasing red lights and the unmistakable siren of a Fire Truck. I have witnessed this phenomen at least 4 times since I have been here. Instead of defending this place and telling everyone how great it is, fix the problems and you would not have so many unhappy customers

The fire truck was the building next to ours. Wait it wasn't a fire, a child pulled the alarm. Go figure, how people jump to conclusions on what things are. If your not happy at one place, for goodness sake there is 1000 apartments around. Im sure you will cry about that one to when you live there. Maybe its just the fact you rent, you don't own. As far as this community, I have lived here for a while. Great staff, not had a problem with getting anything down to the bulbs changed. I just renewed and got new faucets put in my apartment. Im pretty happy with the way things are going. As far as complaining, I wonder if you have even bothered going to ask someone about anything or just vented via this website.
