I moved in to Melrose in August 2004.
I have read all the complaints and nice things people say about Melrose. I do agree with the people who wrote the reviews that think this place is a joke. It is.
I haven't met any nice neighbors, I walk by when I first moved in to say hello and I got looked at like I was some alien.
The place seems to be overrun by males. Who hang out on the steps by my apartment at all hours with thier girls.
The past reviews talk of the management having no clue. They don't. They have no idea what goes on at night, the problems and/or situations that they subject their residents to.
I do not feel safe at all. The gate is a joke. The fence which is supposely eight feet( it's not) has giant holes in it and missing boards. Chloe, the landlady, is over-emotional and careless.
Security does nothing about the noisy residents and you can never know who actually live here since security lets anyone though the gate.
I graduated from college over a year ago and have a full time job. This is not the place to live if you are in the same position I am. You will not get any sleep, nothing works or gets fix, the mail is unreliable, the neighbors are too loud.
I made the mistake of living here and i do regret ever signing that lease. I knew after a week of living here that if was a big mistake.
The only good thing about the living situation I have, I live with my sister and not some person who was picked out of a hat.
After reading all the reviews, and seeing the overall rating of 29%, I am disgusted and pissed off that this apartment complex is what it is.
Take my advise and the advise of the other reviews, do NOT move in here. BuLYzGcKAVo8MQPlcXJq
