Wow. This review has been a longgggg time coming. Read this, take it in, digest it. and PLEASE DO NOT LIVE HERE.
ok so I moved in here thinking it would be a good transition from dorm life, the model is really cute... and our apartment isn't bad, small but fine for my needs. But boy, do I feel dumb now. Our apartment size is so tiny for what you pay for! And now, they have raised the rates so much, it's ridiculous! I am telling you now, with these new rates, IT IS NOT WORTH IT. You can find a larger apartment for so much less within a few minutes. I actually found a large townhouse right up the street for about the same price as what I am paying now. The reason you are paying so much is because it is geared towards us college kids, distracting us with features like free gift wrapping.

The area is so loud too! Not only is I-40 roaring behind the complex, the residents are rudely loud too. I mean, I love parties and having fun as much as anyone else here... But it is ridiculous. Sometimes you need to sleep if you have something going on the next morning... but there are ALWAYS loud parties going on. I don't mind parties and people having fun, that's totally expected (But be wary, the cops break up parties here very very quickly) but the fact is, there is NO volume control. I will literally sit up until 4 am, pissed, listening to yelling/ screaming girls and blaring music.

On top of that, within the first 2 days I moved in, there was a huge fight right in front of my building and 3 gun shots went off into the air before everyone scattered. Some guy was getting beat up by about 10 other guys right next to my car!! uhh...!!!'

THEN! my car got towed from in front of my own apartment because I didn't pick up the stupid new hang tag. It was an expensive pain to get it back. and I could not be reimbursed by the preiss company.

There is NEVER any visitor parking, EVER. So forget having outside people over at night because their car will definately get towed.

pretty much everything in my apartment has broke at some point. The air conditioner broke at least 3 times over the summer.

There have been several roach incidents. They pop up everywhere! ew. I don't even wanna re live those traumatic experiences.

While I like a few people in the office, I mostly get the feeling that these people are only a few years older than me, and the level of professionalism is sorely lacking.

In summary, with the new 2008 rental rates, this place is SO not worth it. Look elsewhere. I know it's attractive in that it is college geared and "safe", but let's look back at the whole gun shot incident after my move in day. It is NOT safe. There is a fake 'security' room next to the 'gates' in the front. This place is not gated or secured. If UVillage weren't well over 400 dollar rent a month, I would be OK with all the flaws that it has... I mean, you get what you pay for, right' At these new rates, do not settle for this waste of money. Please.

I'm ready to move out.
