Absolutely fabulous apartment community nestled perfectly in Raleigh

Moved here from Va in July 2005. First community I looked at and I was sold on its appearance, staff, and location. It's a great community to live in. Neighbors are pleasant and it's quiet, which I was looking for in a place to come home to. There is a small mall next to us with absolutely everything you need to fufill your every whim. From Starbucks, Bank, Kohls, Top hair dresser, wonderful restaurants, Harris teeter, pet store, and yes "a Radio Shack". Both restaurants have great appeal. The Italian bistro has good food and quaint nightlife on fridays . This other little cafe seems to be always lit with life on the weekends serving families galore. Down Durant Rd, which is a hop scotch away, houses a great seafood market/restaurant/cafe. A must for newbies. Try the shrimp and grits for breakfast. We're a light away from 540 exit which allows easy access to crabtree, triangle center, or streets of southpoint mall. Downtown Raleigh is a 15-20 minute jaunt down Falls of the Neuse. There is a Fall of the Neuse Park, for those nature lovers, only 5 minutes away. I've met so many wonderful people in this area and only in a short time, because every other month I go to see my fiance in Bangkok. I'm no old ninny either. Attractive, athletic, and med student going to Duke. People that I run into or aquaintances who have lived here before are always eager to say something wonderful about the community. They always ask if Beatrice Barber(manager),Rebecca and Katie(the staff) still work there, and those kind words are from people who have moved on and bought homes in Raleigh. If that's from people who moved away, I wonder what the people who still live here say. The community has it all, pool, fitness room, laundry, and especially the nestle cookies on display for new tenants at the office. I'm always running in for one or two when I pick up my mail. I think the staff does a wonderful job. Cheers to them!!! So if your looking to find a small piece of heaven in Raleigh that is centrally located to everything else, Muirfield Village is your first and last stop. We have our problems, but probably less than the next community. So pull up, move in and throw the welcome mat out the front door. Looking for where to go, have Beatrice do intro's to me (Tony), and I'll put you on the yellow brick road to dining, movies, or just a perfect evening out. I don't know every place, but I do know a lot of great places for your every whim. Looking forward to seeing you new friendand neighbor.
