Nice People & Neighborhood - Flimsy Construction

Really enjoyed visiting and seeing the property but the construction makes it look like the property will not have a long useful life. Low quality materials throughout.
A couple of safety thoughts although the property has sprinklers and must meet fire codes:
1. Stairs from upper floors are wood and only one way out of each apt.
2. Door to patio has lock inside as well as out. You need a key to get out on the patio for firefighters to rescue you.
With the low level of materials evident, it makes a prudent person wonder whether the sprinkler system would be likely to work if a fire began.
Real shame the building is so poorly constructed. The great neighborhood could easily use a high quality rental property.

Give me a break. This person must have nightmares about getting caught in a fire. I've never seen such obsession/paranoia.

Perhaps you are unfamiliar with good construction vs trash.
This place is the latter, and it's a real shame.
Drucker & Falk just started requiring all tenants to carry renter's insurance because of the large numbers of serious apartment fires occurring recently. Fire safety is not a joke.
