I have lived at North Timber for over three years. I love the location. The management is really nice. They have always negotiated our rent when renewal came around. The office management does change alot, but each person has always been kind to us. Maintenance problems get fixed in a timely manner. They usually call you on Sunday to make sure the problem you had that week was fixed. The shooting that took place was scary, but I figured from what I've seen on the news, that can happen anywhere. I have not let that determine whether I stay or go. I like the fact that it is only up to two bedrooms, because you don't have alot of kids running around making noise etc. It is really quite here. I have come home late at night by myself many times and I have felt safe. No more afraid than if I was anywhere coming in at night. These apartments are not the "ghetto", because if they were I would not have stayed here over three years. The only complaint I do have in order to keep it "real" is that I wish the management would make the stairs/entrance areas look better. They are alittle rusted in certain places. The gym could be updated with a better equipment working treadmill and a good exercise bike to. All my neighbors are nice and friendly...It seems like everyone keep to themselves. The parking is good to. The building I live in has excellent visitor parking. My sister will be looking for an apartment this Fall and I have already told her North Timbers would be her best bet, especially from what I've read about other apartment complexes in the area. It would fit her price budget to. They have a nice look as well.

We will probably not be renewing our lease or we may be doing a month to month...only because we need a three bedroom or something bigger or else I would stay, especially for the rate and the specials they always offer us. We upgraded about two years ago from a one bedroom to a two bedroom...They only kept alittle bit of the deposit, I believe it was probably carpet stuff...which I was okay with. We got the majority of it back.
