When I moved here in July 2003, my rent was $540/mo with hot and cold water and trash paid. Now my rent is $595/mo, and they recently installed hot water heaters and water meters for every apartment plus are demanding all tenants pay $5/mo for trash service. Installing that water heater is now limiting my use of my coat closet because they put the hot water heater IN the closet instead of ABOVE the closet in the ceiling or outside my apt. Before the water heater I was paying about $15/mo in total utilities. Now with my water metered and the water heater plus trash costs, I am expecting that to substantially increase. I'm very disappointed in these changes. My whole point in moving there was because it was the best price in town, but that is no longer true, and will exercise my options of leaving this place at the end of my lease.
