A Nice Place to Live

We have lived here for about a month and so far so good.
The parking hasn't really been a problem for us at all. It is true that North Park is no longer Archstone. We were not told this but rather heard it accidentally, or so it seemed. Though it hasn't affected anything here, we would have felt more comfortable being told up front from the beginning since Archstone seemed to have had a good reputation. Because we moved in when the change was taking place with management, getting a copy of our lease was very delayed. But the staff is nice and they even promoted a holiday porch decorating contest and have regular movie nights at the clubhouse.
Grounds are well-maintained (for the most part) and pretty quiet. Even our neighbors - you don't hear much noise. Except for a barking dog now and then. Everyone has dogs which presents the only major flaw: excessive dog poop in the grass. It's disgusting and, although illegal, doesn't seem to be an issue with the staff. I only see small signs here and there. There are plastic bags and waste cans and still dog-owners let their pets go where they please. So, not such a great place for kids to play catch in the yard. But, the area is close to everything imaginable and the people nice - mostly young it seems. I would reccommend it, especially to new-comers to the state like us.
