I had a friend that lived here about three years ago and he loved it. I moved in just as he moved out. Now I'm wishing I never moved in. This area of town may be convenient for shopping (Triangle Town Center, Mini-City, etc.), but it is quickly turning into a haven for questionable inhabitants.

I will hand it to Northridge though, the grounds are nice and the apartments are roomy. That's where the good stuff ends. The apartments are located right next to another apartment complex which is definitely more lower-income. I used to think that Northridge was different. However, I think now that they must accept Section 8 vouchers or something, as the neighborhood seems to be transforming.

If you like people hanging out in parking lots, loud noise (in some spots), shady late night activities, boom-boom music, and questionable people, then this is definitely the place for you. If you don't, then there are other places around with much better neighbors.

I for one will not be renewing my lease here.

I'm thankful to know there are others in this community who have the courage to voice their opinion about the "ghettofabulous" nature of this neighborhood. Now that summer has arrived, you can relax next to the swimming pool and find yourself listening to groups of young black men calling each other "------" as if they have no problem with the word. For the writer who commented about this place being like suburbia and for Mr. Levine who is in heaven, Y'all must not see behind your own two feet. In suburbia and more respectable neighborhoods, this kind of garbage is not tolerated. DEFINITELY NOT RENEWING LEASE!

I've been paying particular attention to the pool since I'm in Community Watch and usually work out in the fitness center twice a day. No apparent tresspassers or rowdy conduct noted this weekend. Perhaps the earlier poster witnessed a one-time problem that should have been brought to the attention of management. I swear to you, it's not common to find nasty folks at the pool here. If you doubt me, come for yourself any time of the day or night. You are welcome here.
