Cancelled my Apartment Hold!

I originally had an apartment that I was holding at Paces Arbor.

They couldn't show me any apartments like my layout -- just their model -- even though their website shows they have more one bedrooms available.

But, I thought, oh well.

Then I came on apartmentratings.com and read about the bug issues.

This is a HUGE issue for me.

I've lived at Ridgewood Apartments and though I can't stand management there, I have to say -- no bugs for the last year.

And no spraying in my house, either -- they do outside exterminations and that helps a ton.

Well, I called PA to ask about the bugs -- and I was told they spray twice a MONTH.

They have to come IN to the apt and spray -- but she claimed they have no bug problem.

*roll eyes* I finally found another place and I called today to cancel.

Michelle was horribly rude -- argued with me about how apartmentratings is a bunch of disgruntled people that they've kicked out so of course they're going to say bad things.

I said, "No, if one or two people mentioned your roach problem it would be understandable -- but for so many of these supposedly disgruntled people to have the same experience, you have a problem." She also couldn't explain to me why they have these apartments supposedly available but can't actually SHOW them -- that tells me they're hiding something, and I don't care to live in a place I've never seen, thanks.

Something is shady about this place.

I'd stay far away.
