I have lived in Quail Ridge for only 6 months. I started apartment shopping after only being here 3 months. I think I started getting bad vibes on lease signing day when I was told that my renters insurance was not accepted but they work with a wonderful company that could get me a policy in under 5 minuets. When I had my insurance company call, the management refused to talk to them. What they did not know was I was also on the line. The woman in the office was beyond rude.
Fast forward 2 weeks. As I attempted to open the sliding door for the closet it fell off of the track. I am still waiting for that to be repaired. I had a problem in the summer where the air kept cutting off. Maintenance came over and blew out the lines. They repositioned the pipes and it worked well for 1 day. The next day a different person came over and did the same thing. Again it worked well for 1 day. After this repair I had a flood. The drain pan over flowed and soaked the entire hallway. Now I have a constant mold smell in my apartment. This goes with the flood in the kitchen because the seal on the dishwasher is bad.
I have never seen so many bugs inside in my life. The send an exterminator out ever couple of months. It does not help. I am almost afraid to cook in my kitchen. I am a clean person so I do not understand why there are roaches of every size imaginable everywhere. I should not have to kill bugs on my stove before I can use it.
Don't even think of going to the pool. The water is so dirty. There is no way the health department or whoever came out and inspected it before opening. I don't think it has ever been cleaned. Tiles and filter covers were missing. If I was not so afraid of what was on the bottom, I would have been afraid of being sucked up in the filter.
If you enjoy peace and quiet DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! My neighbors upstairs and down seem to compete to see who can play their music the loudest. This of course is in my building. I don't know what goes on on the other side of the complex.

IM responding to the not very nice person. I agree with that person due to them being correct. I dont like pets, but I would'nt want a dog to live here. First of all I feel like I live in Mexico city and never had a desire to go there. Im not from here, but you can believe one thing I will make sure I read reviews when I get out of this First 48 Roach Motel when my lease is up. I feel like Quail Ridge apt is a rip off. They make the apartment look so nice on the computer, but once you rent one of these aptartment out you are in for something totally different and its nothing nice. You ask for a certain apartment and you end up with more then what you want to pay. AS for the music you can't relax before you go work, because you have these -------- that wants to play there music so loud where they feel like it is a competition. I never live around -------- before and I did'nt no it would be that bad.For the ones i seen are not clean at all. some people like bugs and dont care. Well I cant stand living with bugs especially when you can't enjoy your house without a roach crawling in your kitchen trying to get something to eat or with company watching tv how embrassing is that for ones that are clean. I say stay away from Roach Motel. Not good for no one who is a very clean person not even a pet.
