I lived here for a little over a year and I LOVED it! This property was built in 1934 and has so much character. It is unlike most other communities. A new community is not important to me as long as the place has some character. The location in unbeatable right behind Cameron village and walking distance to Glenwood South. I didn't mind the characters that lived there either...it's all part of the downtown ambience. I never felt unsafe. You never see 2 ft. window sills, 2 entrances to the apartment, hardwood floors, or the ability to do whatever with your apartment anymore. I painted every room of my apartment, tiled the backsplash...it felt like home. The only cons were no W/D connections b/c of the age. I lived on the top floor so noise was never a problem but I bet it is downstairs.
