A few months after we moved in, the management here changed. The new office manager, Pamela, is shady. The rent here is simply not worth it. We started at $550--what our apartment is worth. Now, only two years later, they want us to pay almost $50 more! Other apartments received renovations, but if we were to opt for upgrades, we would have to pay an additional $40-$50/month--making rent $640, almost $100 more than it was when we first moved in. This is a shame because the area is nice and very convenient. I wish though, that the apartment complex would realize what it is worth and charge accordingly.

Slim is the maintenance man, and I will say, you could not ask for better. Polite and efficient, he is the first maintenance man I've ever had that I feel comfortable with being in my apartment even if I am not home.

If they continue to try and raise our rent, we are moving.

Unfortunately every complex can and do raise rents yearly. We used to live in California and they raised it exactly $100 every year, we rented it and lived there 8 years becuz we couldnt afford to put up a deposit to leave for lower cost place. All In all, was it a nice apartment tho? We are currently in Michigan where they dont raise the rent but the other tenants, when you see them or hear them all hours fighting, youll know why they dont raise it...everyone would move!

I agree - for the year and the amount they raised it, OMG you were getting off CHEAP! That part of Raleigh/Cary has totally boomed in the last 5 years and finding an apt there for 650 or even 750, which is what they're renting for today - is a STEAL.
