I and my roomie moved into Remington October 28, 2006. The place is beautiful. They had just remodeled all of the apartments. All brand new black appliances. Even came with washer and dryer. We went out and bought all kind of furniture to match the color scheme. We loved it. Even though the rent was kinda high, it was worth it. The first night changed our minds. We killed 18 roaches. 2nd night 15 roaches. 3rd night 22 roaches. Ever night we KILLED ROACHES. The 5th night an even bigger problem we were faced with. A mouse went running across the floor. We informed the office immediately. But they made it seem okay and theyd fix it. After a month they still hadnt. Even after our numerous attempts to have the problem fixed. Droppings were everywhere, in our beds, pillowcases, toilet seats, tubs, counter tops. We found out later that it wasnt one mouse, there were several. And then they werent mice, they were RATS. They were eating through the walls behind the refrigerator and toilet. Of course we moved out. They tried to say that we brought the roaches and rodents with us. That we were dirty and attracted them to our place. The staff was terrible!! One girl there started 3 days before we moved in. Within a week of us moving out she quit. She couldnt take all the complaints from so many residents and didnt want to be associated with the company. I dont care how much they renovate and put new things in or even how high or low the rent is. That place is a hell hole built on top of a roach burial ground with rats as uninvited guests.

I AM GLAD I READ THIS RECENT POST, BECAUSE MY LEASE IS UP AT THE TRESTLES APARTMENT, RIGHT UP THE STREET, AND I WAS CONSIDERING THE REMINGTON BECAUSE OF THE NEW LAYOUT, BUT I GUESS, LIKE YOU SAID, THEY CANT COVER UP THE REAL PROBLEMS. THIS IS ONE REASON WHY I AM MOVING. IT IS SO HARD TO FIND A DECENT APARTMENT THESE DAYS. PEOPLE WANT YOU TO PAY FOR ----
