I've lived here since February and am sorry I picked this community to move into. I had flown down from out of state to look for an apartment after getting a job lined up and didn't have much time to select a place and sadly, this is what I chose and now I'm kicking myself for it. Probably the only good thing about my unit is the noise level. I lucked out in getting considerate neighbors so the noise level personally isn't a factor for me. I'm sure its not like that for everyone though.
Now why don't I really like it here' Where to start.....It takes maintenance forever to get out to your apartment to look at something and when they do, I think all they do is look and not fix anything. Getting anything done requires multiple calls and when you're here with an issue and they tell you "that's the best I can do" with something and you still know its not fixed, something is wrong.
The office staff is fairly friendly. They may delay the maintenance requests which could be one part of the problem.
I know this is NC and there will be bugs. Yes, but it shouldn't get to a point of being a routine to kill them. When I go into the office and complain about them, I get the usual that it's NC, the weather, etc... I know there will be some but there's a problem when you get one maybe one a day' And it sucks to have to survey your area where you want to sit down or even when you go to bed making sure there's nothing on the floor, wall, or ceiling. Yes, the ceiling. Nice waking up and seeing one of those jokers up there, heh' They say someone comes to spray and they spray just on the outside which does us no good. When they supposedly spray on the inside, they don't move furniture to spray along the walls. Then where can they possibly spray'
It's been a fairly lousy experience and I certainly won't be renewing my lease. Not even if they paid me to renew it. The end of my lease can't get here fast enough.
