Overall a good experience

From time to time I have mixed feelings about this place, this being one of those times. In one weekend, the sewage line serving my building overflowed and pushed rank sewage into my bathtub, etc. and I found a huge spider and two giant cockroaches in my apartment.
But, with the plumbing problem, the apartment managers had someone here to fix it in 20 minutes (on a SUNDAY!), which was good, and they let me hang out in the office and use their water until the problem was ameliorated.
I have a nice, quiet apartment that was recently renovated with new appliances, and I have a great view of the pond and gazebo. It's pretty nice to hear the frogs at night, and sometimes come home and have wildlife on my front doorstep. That I haven't found anywhere else.
But with the old buildings, there are plenty of cracks and crevices where the wildlife can come IN, cockroaches, millipedes, etc. That is incredibly upsetting to me, but so far, the management has been extremely helpful in getting the exterminator to come over here and get rid of them.
It's a great price for the space, the management is friendly and responsive but if you're freaked out by bugs, I suggest a newly built complex.
