A long time resident...

I have lived here for 5 years and I have absolutely nothing bad to say about the place. The location cannot be beat, and the apartments are located in a crime free area of N. Raleigh, convenient to stores, I-540, and several choices in malls, activities, downtown.
Bonuses include a wide selection of floorplans, maximum two-story walkups, screened porches, large kitchens, more than enough parking, and friendly professional staff.
I must agree with a previous review that some of the older apartments are built to 1980s standards and soundproofing is not as adequate as more modern materials, so if you do live upstairs, you do often have noise from below. My recommendation is talking with downstairs neighbors, as they often do not realize the amplification of noise to those above. If they wake you up, remind them that you can certainly wake them up as well.
The lots are wooded, so occasionally you might find an outside bug inside. It's not a big deal--I would challenge anyone living near woods to eliminate this occurrence. Remember that an apartment experience is what you make of it and ask yourself what you can bring to the community...
