DON'T MOVE THERE! THEY SCREWED ME, THEY'LL SCREW YOU TOO!

Where do I begin! I agree the staff is all friendly and smiles when you move in, but if you have ANY complaints about anything, you're considered a "problem" tenant!
The lawn crew hit the rear bumper of my antique car, ripping the newer car-cover I had over it...the office told me they were not responsible! I was on my own to fight with THEIR landscaper...I NEVER got compensated of course, as they denied it was them, even though I had 4 witnesses/neighbors that saw them do it! The office didn't care at all..it's not like it happened on THEIR property!!!
They allow people to move in above you with 35LB dogs...the one above me would love to jump on the floor at 3am and bark its lungs out over any little noise...the owner did NOTHING to stop it!(Note: the neighbor told me her dog weighed 35 lbs).
I called and wrote a letter to the office, had several talks with said neighbor and the problem continued. As a matter of fact, said neighbor actually got mad at ME for making a complaint to the office and keyed the front fender my car(when I wasn't watching of course!).
This dog incident is what forced me to move out!
YES, the walls and floors are paper-thin, and you WILL be disturbed by living noises from your neighbors...God help you if you live next to somebody who likes loud music!
At one point, the apartment was infested with tiny ants, which were sprayed by the office, but still returned...I had to buy bombs on my own, bomb the place and leave for 4 hours!
I will say that there were NEVER any roaches in the apartment during my 2 years.
One summer weekend my folks came up from Florida...we were sitting along side the pool at night with our feet dangling in the water, and a SNAKE came swimming by!!!!It was a small one, but a SNAKE none the less! Probably a coincidence though!
They were re-paving the parking lot once, so I had to park down a few spaces that night...while I was out to dinner with a friend, somebody scratched a line all across the hood of my car, with some object!
I got home from work one evening, got out of my car to check my mail, and a gang of teenaged kids wanted to fight me! As I drove off, one of them took a swipe at my car, but missed! I immediately reported it to the office...they said they'd send somebody over to check it out, but they never did!
Then to move out, in the lease they write "60-day notice required"...I gave them notice on the 2nd of March to move out by May 1st...they made me pay an extra 2 days, because they argued I didn't give them "2 months"...(if you count the days, I gave them 59 days, so I owed them ONE day...the lease didn't say "2 months" it said "60 days"! I argued my point and they STILL nickled and dimed me out of 1 extra day's rent... I even told them they could keep my $75 cieling fan I paid THEIR maintenance guy $25 to install in exchange, but they wouldn't budge!
Even after all the HELL they put me through with the dog upstairs devastating my right to peace and quite, AND the damage to my 2 cars that was never compensated , they STILL had the nerve to squeeze an extra day's rent out of me!!
P.S. The complex is also SPEEDBUMP HAPPY! So if you have a vehicle that rides low, be prepared for a scraped-up undercarriage! PLUS after 2 years, I had leaking rear-axel seals on my car on both sides! I can't prove it was due to the speedbumps, but I suspect it was!
DON'T MOVE THERE!

Perhaps you were not meant for apartment living.

Perhaps the apartment complex is a piece of $hit!

I absolutely agree with this review. My puppy fell from the top set of stairs of my apartment complex because the railing does not meet safety standards. He had to have $3000 worth of surgeries and the staff was entirely unsympathetic.

This post is entirely accurate, the management is currently treating me the same way after I moved out. Demanding money for things they should have maintained and fixed through the duration of my stay, including their faulty pipes. A ghetto cesspool. I say report them to WRAL live at 5.
