After having lived here I wish I had read the reviews, the few good reviews are most likely by management, I personally am filing a complaint with the better business bureau. I've also been looking for owner information to write the owners themselves.

This apartment complex is poorly managed, and very unprofessional. For the same $1,000 dollars are month, you could have a newer upper class apartment with modern utilities and amenities. I lived in this apartment for years, and the pipes burst and flooded the apartment twice. They moved us to another apartment to compensate, then made a shabby patch job and moved us back in only to have it flood again.

There is plenty of parking, plenty of noisy neighbors who play loud rap music, and in the case of my specific apartment we had a moat of water every time it rained that was unbearable to walk through. The apartments are dirty, disgusting, old, and poorly maintained at best. This includes mice, cockroaches, mold in the bathrooms, floors, and poor construction, painting and all around maintenance.

I am very happy and thankful to never have my car broken into and things stolen. I always assumed it might happen there. If you can't afford anything better, I would dare say you haven't looked around. Location at this place isn't everything...

Ah but they do have a newer section you say'

I suppose you could live in a slightly newer section, for the same price, and equal problems, but it is mildly new, but compared to all the other nicer apartments and town houses, it doesn't offer much. As a matter of fact my family rented one for the week to stay there. It was nicer than the old section.

At the end of my stay I found much better apartment complexes offering 250$ off first months rent, elevators, same prices, and the management was much nicer, with more new amenities and more professional. I am very happy in my new place, and would never recommend this apartment complex to anyone.

My experiences with working with the management staff regarding health issues, payments, etc. is terrible, as a matter of fact they will immediately note to you that they will not hesitate to call a sheriff to your doorstep to take care of any personal problems they may have with you, including the termination of your lease.

However, if you feel optimistic then take your own chances for a year.

I couldn't agree more. I am not renewing my lease and am getting out as soon as possible. See my review "Ghetto Fabulous"!
