Not a bad place to live, but definately has some things to keep in mind before signing up.

1) right next to the landfill, so there is noise from trucks/bulldozers and there is a definate smell on a lot of the warmer/wetter days.

2) make sure you are on the top floor, noise travels fairly easily through the floors

3) a lot of unsupervised children running around - playing in the parking lot and left unsupervised at the pool. Don't count the pool as a reason to move here, I never used it because of the unruly kids.

4) too many residents didn't pick up their dog waste, having a pet myself I was happy to get out since I was tired of stepping in **** every time I tried to let my dog out. The apt complex provides bags, but the residents are too lazy to clean up after their pets. This includes dog pee in the elevator, and people leaving trashbags outside the doors of their apartments for days at a time.

5) seemed like all the dogs and children were grouped together in specific buildings, these buildings typically were noisier and more run down with more problems.

6) last fall there was a flea epidemic on the grounds, apartment complex didn't spray the grounds to get rid of them, so if you have pets make sure you keep them on Frontline or another strong flea preventor. I got fleas in my apartment when my pet was on cheaper stuff, and I myself would get bit just walking the dog on the grass.

7) some of the buildings have mice, I had several that lived on my patio. Again, it is better to be higher up in the building.

8) when lease came up for renewal, the price quoted me for resigning was higher than the advertised price on the web (by 200 dollars a month). Keep in mind that I was always on time or even paid ahead by a month or two in my rent. I spoke with several other residents who were moving out, and they had the same complaint, so was not isolated incident.

Good things:
It is very convenient to I-540, close to shopping and grocery stores, and there is nice neighborhood area to walk in housing development around the area.

Elevator is good for moving in and out.

Apartments are decent inside, relatively newer. I can't comment on service staff for repairing things, I never had an issue where I needed them to fix anything.

Didn't have any problems with the office staff, although it is now under new management, so not sure if that is a change for better or worse.

My recommendation reflects more the proximity to the dump and the inconsiderate residents than it does a problem with the apt. or staff.
