I recently moved to Summermill and it is an alright complex to me. I truly enjoy the staff. They are very friendly and are quick to have any issues fixed the very same day of the request. Personally, I was a little upset that the floor plan appears smaller than what I was shown for the model. So, I'm feeling a bit crammed, coming from a very spacious apartment. I am assuming that first floor apartments are spaced differently since the storage closet is on the inside of the apartment. Now, that is a huge room! I wasn't so impressed with the way the apartment smelled. I think the previous tenants must have been smokers. So, it's taken over a month to get the smell out of the apartment and some clothing that I have noticed the smell on. Lastly, I cannot stand bugs and am afraid of spiders. Even though I have sprayed my own apartment, the bugs and spiders seem to just keep coming. I either find them dead or crawling around. Overall, I think it's something I can live with because I am elated at the fact that I am only 10 minutes away from work versus the 30 minute drive that I used to have. But, I think I would do better either on another level or in my own home. Oh, one last thing...people have got to stop letting their pets go to the bathroom anywhere!!! There are designated spots for this.
