Not Worth the Value - Overpriced

We moved here because of the location to campus. Instead what we learned was that this place is far above market costs compared to other locations. You can hear every step from your upstairs neighbor because the floors and interiors have been failed to be kept up to code or improved. The office area was completely repaved but to our laughter all of the other parking lots were painted black to give an appearance that it had been paved. A three bedroom now goes for $925 a month which you will find better deals for the same price but better maintained and construction. Our neighbor keeps a bucket outside their door to keep down the number of cigerette butts which is an excellent idea but we learned that they were told to remove the bucket.

This leads to common sense management. Management does not listen nor are they professional. I do not think any office employee lives at the complex which should send a signal that if they dont like it then neither should you. There is no automated process regarding maintenence. You will call the office and it will get lost like everything else. Also the staff is just not friendly. Oh, they are friendly when you are filling out an application but once you get the keys the nice is all over. They keep raising the rent but the improvements are lacking. The front doors are not sealed so bugs and water does tend to enter. Maintenence is aware of it and a year ago told us that it would be corrected. Nope. It just went ignored like other simple requests.

If you order food at night then forget delivery. Nobody can read the building numbers and most of all most of the doorbells do not work and maintenence refuses to fix them. We just put a note on the door to knock. A lady next to us called an ambulance and police/rescue had a hard time finding the exact address. Management did put up brass numbers but you have to shine a police light from a distance to read it. The parking is good but the lighting in the parking lot is substandard. My girlfriend really does not feel safe because of the lack of lighting.

From speaking with neighbors they tend to agree with what we are saying here. Our neighbor had rent at $750 when they first moved here and now its $850 and going up and up. They are just as frustrated because there seems like no customer loyalty from management. We agree. Its like people in - people out with attitude from the office.

The office didnt really make this place feel like home. We liked the floorplan but honestly the cost does not match the overall quality.
