The grounds are beautiful but the price to pay is the noise of landscapers working on the property 6 days a week! Also, appliances are very old and need desperately to be replaced with models from this decade. The kitchen faucets are cheap, and become loose and leak after about 1 year's normal use. The kitchen sink itself is small and bowl-shaped, so anything you set in the sink immediately tips over and/or goes down the drain. There are some loose, creaky floor boards in my unit. It's is a little scary when you feel the floor move up and down under your feet. The huge back deck is wonderful, and much bigger than any other apartments in town. But, the wood flooring of the deck is lately getting to be in pretty ugly and bad shape, and needs to be re-done soon. Big, spacious rooms means little storage. Love the "REAL" brick hearth wood burning fireplace, gives it a homey feeling. I also like the fact that Stonehenge doesn't paint their interior walls 'hospital white' but a soft eggshell white that is much more pleasing. The walls are a bit "thin" too, it's very easy to hear your neighbors activities and voices through the floor, ceilings and walls. I think this is pretty common with most apartments though, sadly. The neighborhood is simply gorgeous and tree-filled and we all love the pools and the friendly people who live here. They just need to repair and upgrade the buildings and appliances.
