We have been here at The Exchange for a short period of time and are quite disappointed with the "DORM LIFE" setting this place has become! When we first came to the property, we met with a very eager and friendly ------- who made this place sound like a "gold mine". We were told that there was not a tolerance for loud and unruley behavior from the tenants and that it was a friendly, yet quiet relaxed community. The Bait was dropped and we bit.
Upon our first days of moving in, we experienced excess noise from our neighbors.
Not only loud, excess partying until the wee hours, but litter of that of cig butts were dumped into our balcony from above. These people did not care of the disturbance
they were creating! My husband even had stepped out onto our balcony and spoke up to them asking them to please keep it down, for it was 3:30am. To our horror we were told to --@$ Off!! The next morning we informed the mgmt team of our experience and it was simply brushed off as , "They were probably just joking and had a little too much to drink." Well... some time has passed and we are still having a continuing battle with some of the most disrepect--l people; both in as neighbors and that of mgmgt personel. Oh, and as far as the pool area.... constant problems with the blarring of the stereo system that they have installed... why does the music have to be so loud that it is to the point of uncomfortable'!! We can even hear the loud music 7 days a week from 9am to 9pm!! We are not even that close to the pool area!
IT'S THAT LOUD.. ON TOP OF THAT PEOPLE SCREAMING ABOVE EACH OTHER OVER THE MUSIC AND
A MAJORITY OF "STUDENTS" HAVING THEIR POOL PARTIES LACED WITH ALCOHOL AND VULGAR LANUAGE!! THE POOL RULES EVEN STATE "NO ALCOHOL", BUT MGMT ALLOWS IT AS LONG AS IT'S NOT IN A GLASS BOTTLE!!
DON'T EVEN TRY MAKING ANY TYPE OF COMPLAINT... THE --- JUST BRUSHES IT OFF. HE'S MORE CONCERNED OF KEEPING THE ALREADY NOT --LL OCCUPENCY AT IT'S PRESENT LEVEL:
RENT TO ANYONE WITH MONEY TO JUST GET IT FILLED! HE WANTS HIS COMMISSION AND DOESN'T CARE ABOUT THE TENANTS! HE TALKS TOO MUCH ABOUT OTHER TENANTS TOO. IF HE DOESN'T LIKE THE TENANT PERSOANLLY, HE WILL LET OTHER'S KNOW... WHAT A MISTAKE. WE'RE NOT HIS BUDDY! I CAN ONLY IMAGINE WHAT HE SAYS ABOUT US AND OTHERS!!
SAVE YOUR MONEY, TIME AND FRUSTRATION AND DON'T GET LURED INTO THE EXCHANGE AT BRIER CREEK... THERE ARE BIGGER FISH TO FRY!!!

If people without jobs had more things to do and less time to complain about other residents, this wouldn't even be an issue! My experience with The Exchange Managment team has been nothing but wonder--l. The ------- tends to all problems and complaints very timely and efficiently. From what my husband and I can tell, he goes out of his way to make sure that The Exchange is the best place to live in Raleigh!
