Though the staff is friendly, no amount of kindness can hide the truth about the palms.We have lived here for about almost 1 years and cannot wait till our lease is up. We were lured in by the 1 month free rent and the low price they offered and were shown an apartment that was a dramatic difference from our own. Problems surfaced within one month of moving in.

Here is a list of problems:

1: The roach problem is outrageous throughout the whole building and the infestation has continued for months. The exterminator has sprayed several times and when they "bombed" our apt with a generic food lion store bomb we were still seeing bugs that same day. We complained and we were told to keep our apartment cleaner(I clean everyday) and that if the infestation continues we will have our lease terminated.

2: Some of our neighbors and I by no means mean all of them, are completely discourteous and inconsiderate. They leave their small children and their toys unattended in the parking lots and enjoy spending most of their time standing around in the parking lots blaring their music and refuse to move out of the way of vehicles. These things along with other shady activities make it a very uncomfortable environment for children as well as women to the point where i will not go out alone at night.

3: The apartments themselves are on the verge of falling apart, literally. The stairways are rusted, the walkways are collapsing, the plumbing is terrible and we have had our apartment flood on several occasions( the maintenance didn't arrive until two hours after and took TWO days to fix it and never returned to clean the carpets like they said they would), The carpeting comes up with little effort, the doors are falling off the hinges. The walls are so paper thin that you can hear everything your neighbors are doing, above below and beside you. The Laundry room had one washer and one dryer per building and are disgusting and often smell terribly.

This is an honest review written by someone who wants to make sure no one else has to endure what we have while living here.
