I lived in Thornhill for two years.

I liked the location and the wooded look to the property.

I also liked that many of the apartments come with garages.

One thing that really upset me was that maintenance went into my home on two seperate occasions without a)letting me know they would b)leaving a note that they were there and c)not having a reason for coming inside.

It was pretty obvious they were there since my neighbor mentioned it and doors that were left open that were closed when I left (I have a pet and do it on purpose).

The office staff would not admit to it (or perhaps were not aware) but after the second time I made sure I left.

I also feel its way too pricey for the set up of the apartment.

The tub is a plastic that never feels clean regardless of the amount of clorox and the windows totally mess up your power bill both in the winter and summer.

I did like that you could pay your bill online.

I didn't like that people did not clean up after their dogs and that you could hear your neighbors below you as well as to the side of you.

Personally, I think you could find better for the money but it wasn't the worst place I could've picked.

I moved in last year and am nervous as to how much the rent will go up. Do you mind telling me what to expect. I am nervous since I have found after moving that this place nickle and dimes us to death. I pay them as much to read my meter as I do usage of water. I too experienced the same with maintenance. I left for Christmas came back and my tv was on a Latin channel, I don't speak spanish. And some expensive rum that was in the freezer for "invited" company was mostly replaced with water. Also, I thought when I moved in that the previous tenants and the cleaner hadn't cleaned the shower floor very well, it was dark brown. I did pour a bottle of clorox and not a change. About the windows. I couldn't understand why my blinds kept moving because they had to replace the weather stripping. When it snowed and I was freezing, I discovered that the stationary door to the sliding glass doors, you could literly see outside through a gap where it has slipped! And I won't even start on the noise level. I am so mad that I didn't read the review before because it will cost alot to move so soon. If the rent increase is too high I WILL BE MOVING!
