My roommate got held a gunpoint

That's right. I had some idea that this place was bordering next to a ghetto, but it really sank in when I found out my roommate got rob by gunpoint when she was walking to the corner store. Also, I have a coworker whose boyfriend got stabbed just a couple of months ago at Rhyne's Gate, which is the apartment complex across the street and literally a few steps away from U Oaks.
The people at Preiss Co. are condescending and have a holier than thou attitude...they also make you sign and initial an entire page full of fines you will incure if you slip up in any way.
It's not worth it, people! There's a reason why its cheap! Find a safer place to live.
