I signed a year lease with my roommates for Aug 07 - Aug 08. I subleased another town home from May 07-Aug07 when I moved in. I didn't have any real problems during my sublease, other than it being a complete hassle and pain to deal with rent wise, but everything went downhill when I moved into my actual place. People next to me are loud as can be, but the office staff told me they'd rather settle things outside of the police. They told me to write up "incident reports" and file them in the office. From what I can tell, these were either thrown in the garbage after I left or filled with my other stuff in the back of some drawer. Nothing was ever done, so after the 3rd report I started calling the police. Still nothing happens, it's always loud.
Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays are always big party days, and there's never parking. You can call the tow truck all you want, they'll say they're on the way, but they never show. You wake up in the morning to a bunch of beer bottles smashed all over sidewalks and in parking lots.
The staff is pretty much useless. They can help if you want to tan, but as far as I can tell, that's all they're good for. The property manager, ----- was great until we actually got settled in, then she just stops helping or even pretending to care. The office never opens on time and frequently closes early... if you work and can't get there until a certain time, you're screwed.
Pretty much the only thing U Suites has going for it is it's maintenance guy. He's pretty nice, but with the way things break, you're going to see a lot of him. So far I've only been here for just at 3 months and he's already been here 4 times. Our garbage disposal has broken twice (once RIGHT after move in), our door looks like someone shouldered their way in, and only half our stove worked. All of this (and much much much more) was noted on the move in report and filed for work orders, but apparently ----- decided it wasn't worth the time or effort to fix. So, our stair banister is still broken, bed frame is still broken, oven JUST got fixed last week, and the door still doesn't half lock.

Don't lease here... you'll end up 3 months in to your lease and regret it. For the money you pay here, you can rent from the Preiss company and get quieter.
