The bedroom size isn't that bad, closet space is good, and everyone gets his/her own bathroom, the rent is reasonable for what you get....but you also get unreliable maintenance, tons of hidden fees that they will ever so graciously shove up your ass, bitchy management, doors that can easily be unlocked with nothing more than a credit card, stained carpet (that you have to pay to be "professionally" cleaned at the end of your lease term no matter what), very slow internet connection during the spring/fall school semesters (takes me about 5 minutes to buffer a 3 minute youtube video), bug problems that they make you pay to get rid of, they can make your lease a "defaulted lease" for any reason they deem necessary which means that you have to move out of your apartment and continue to pay your full rent for the rest of the lease term while they fill your room and get more money. Sometimes parking is a problem and sometimes it isn't...it isn't a problem when you aren't there, but when you need to find a spot to park once you are there it quickly becomes one (especially from around 5 p.m. through the night and even more so on the weekends). There are always parties on the weekends but they are almost always private and small, so nothing special there (Campus Crossings has way more and way better ones and is right down the road). It does have a shuttle to and from the NCSU campus... but it is an old abandoned 1990's era school bus that they slapped some red paint on. The pool... well lets just say that I played in a bigger inflatable one as a child. Their "dynamic roommate matching system" as they call it consists of them asking you if you want coed or non coed rooming, finding an apartment that needs more people to move in so it is at full occupancy, giving you the phone numbers of your future roommates, and sending you on your way. The "gym" is an assortment of a couple rickety old weight machines and a couple of cardio machines. The U.S. postal service doesn't put the mail in the mailboxes, I assume U. Suites management hires a nosy senior citizen or some such member of society to put the mail in the different mail slots because about one tenth of my mail has either been tampered with or completely ripped open (uhhh.....felony). But all that being said, it's still better than dorm rooms...or homeless shelters.
