If I had a week to talk about Village Green it wouldn't be enough to tell you all that is wrong. Biggest problem- No visitor parking (maybe about 2 spots per building)My mother came down once in the two years I lived there to visit me for two days. She had to park down the street, where cars had been reportedly (by Village Green btw) "side-swiped" often. When I asked the front desk if I could possibly have a day pass for her to park near my building I was told "no, we cannot give those out." This place is corporately run so there is a total disconnect between what should be done and what is done. Secondly, the bus to campus is a great idea- but it's always broken, so that form of transportation is unreliable. Thirdly, maintenance pretty much sucks- slow response to work orders and good luck if your air conditioner starts to freeze if you set it below 70... That happens because the filter hasn't been cleaned in years- they are supposed to change it every year but it never happens (even when calling them to do so). Also if you have moved out and are looking forward to that nice $200.00 security deposit, prepare to be disappointed- first they will take your money as fast as they can and for any reason. Then after they have deducted as much of your money as possible they will take forever to send the check, and then you wont get yours because there is a problem at corporate... surprise surprise! Oh and btw the internet is super slow... if you play Xbox live- prepare for many interruptions and there is no chance in hell of fixing it because the internet is based out of FL. Please save yourself some headache and pay a little more to live somewhere else.
