I have been at Wakefield Glen almost a year now. I must admit, it leaves much to be desired. The entrance into the property from Falls of Neuse is poorly designed, and dangerous. Parking is atrocious. There are times when I have to park as far as three buildings away, and walk to my apartment. The clubhouse is probably the nicest building here...and it does serve it?s purpose well....nicely landscaped, an impeccably furnished interior, as are the apartments for show, and the staff SEEMS to be very pleasant. And as they say, the first impression is everything...but afterwards, look out. The buildings are ok, nothing special...maintenance is a bit slow, and overall, the entire staff is not all that friendly. The carpets are poor quality and will wear fast. You can definitely find better.
