Wakefield Glen is not what it used to be....

I have rented at Wakefield Glen for the past few years and I am very much looking forward to moving when my lease is up. In the past 8 months this apt. complex has taken a HUGE turn for the worst, when a new management company took over.
Safety and cleanliness are two of the most important factors to me when looking for an apt. At night the parking lot sounds like a "hang-out," there are cars parked for months in the same parking spots because the registration (and Im willing to bet the insurance too) has expired. This would never have been tolerated by old management. Some of the simple pleasures that the tenants were accustomed to having, have gone to the wayside: we no longer have our filters changed on our AC (which kept the units running smoothly especially in the hot- hot summers), in the spring the building is no longer power washed; the pool is an absolute nightmare!! As of right now there is a notice that the pool is indefinitely CLOSED. Uh its the month of AUGUST it was 95 degrees yesterday'!'!'! We have NEVER had these problems in the past. There are cigarette butts and dog poop all over the stairwells as well as beer bottles. Again this would never have been tolerated by old management!
I'm really writing this in hopes that someone in corporate at The Connor Group starts to pay attention. I'm confident that renters in seek of an apt. will read this and move on to a better apt complex- stay clear of Wakefield Glen its under new management and POORLY managed. Even if you are a good tenant, you're treated like your a stranger in the management office. Again, this was not the case before The Connor Group.

Will you people please stop using this place as a way to vent your frustrations about The Connor Group? Seriously, it seems all the bad reviews feel the need to point out that The Connor Group is in charge. Honestly, I agree with one of the previous reviews that says it feels like most of these posts are people with personal vendettas against the company. As soon as one good review pops up, a million bad reviews follow just to push the good review off the page. Part of me wonders if these bad reviews are the same person with several different email addresses, as all of these reviews are from "Anonymous".
To anyone reading these reviews and considering bypassing Wakefield Glen as a place to live, PLEASE, come drive through yourself and see the grounds. Once you get past the construction, you'll see that the grounds are clean and well-maintained, the parking lot doesn't contain a bunch of cars that never move, and the complex itself is in great condition.

"Once you get past the construction" is another reason to get out! Cars always get dirty and messed up-another reason to get out. Dog poop all over the place-Another reason. Beer cans/bottles-Another. Trashy people that wasn't here before-Another! Also, this is the first time I have been on here-so don't accuse me of being the same person!!!
