Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2004
I am a previous resident. I totally disagree with this comment. I lived here when this property first started for two years. I was so happy to leave there. Yes, there are issues about not being enough things for the kids to do, but when Voices was here at least several attempts was made to improve the community and a lot of those were successful. Voices did their best to stick together and confront management about issues that needed to be resolved. Though people complain about previous management at least she worked with us. To make others suffer because of one family is ridiculous. To not allow tenants to have access to amenities when they pay rent or sit in front of their building outside of the walk way when you pay your rent each month is crazy. I feel that the community relays a false idea of what the community is to rent the property of course that's their job, but at least try to work with the residents instead of bucking against them. This makes the community and lines of communications between management and residents become closed. The roach problem is ridiculous. Spraying should be done continously in each apartment of the entire building. To pay this amount of rent and live in conditions like this is unbelieveable. The apartments are great. The location is good. But, honesty from management, team work from the residents and negotiating between the two works better than idle threats from the office.
