Is there really any other option for great living in Raleigh'

Wildwoods is clean and quiet. It's naturally wooded with lots of shade, unlike some of those newer complexes that clear cut the land, throw up some buildings and plant a few baby trees. We are paying only $21 more per month than out last apartment, and our apartment here is over 400 sq feet larger! No fitness center, but who needs a stairmaster when you live on beautiful Lake Johnson with its several miles of trails' Get out and enjoy nature! Wildwoods has an ample pool and outdoor hot tub!

The maintenance and office staff are helpful, friendly, and prompt. The few issues that we have had were taken care of quickly and efficiently. You can really tell that they care about how the complex looks. After the ice storm of December '02 the staff didn't waste any time getting out there and cleaning up. We lost some of the smaller and more decorative trees to that storm but unfortunately that's how it goes. Some of my friends who live in other apartment complexes weren't so lucky -- their staffs took weeks to clean up.

We live one building over from a Raleigh Police Officer who can be paged in case of emergency by calling the office (or answering service after hours). We did have a bit of a noise issue with one of our neighbors but a call to the office cleared that up quick. We haven't heard a peep out of them since.

I have lived in 5 different apartment complexes in Raleigh and toured many, many more. Wildwoods is absolutely by far one of the highest quality complexes and is a tremendous value. You can't beat the location. I drive only 12 miles to work at IBM in RTP. Wildwoods is literally 30 seconds away from Crossroads Mall which has just about any major store you could ever possibly want: Best Buy, Old Navy, Bed Bath and Beyond, ----'s Sports, Target, Home Depot, Lowes, BJ's, etc and a ton of smaller / speciality stores and restaurants.

In short, if you're considering Wildwoods, go for it. From the fabulous staff to the unbeatable location, you just can't go wrong. Trust me. :)
