If I weren't moving out of state, I would stay for several more years! The setting is beautiful -- curving roads, lots of trees, very well-kept landscaping. From the main road you can't even tell there's an apartment community back here, so it stays very private and quiet. The property is right on Lake Johnson, so many of the buildings back up to the lake and the walking trails. The tenants are very quiet and well-chosen -- ideal neighbors. Pets are allowed, and there are a lot of big dogs, but I've never heard any of them making noise. In fact I haven't had noise problems of any kind. The management is very caring and personal, and any time I've called them they've responded instantly. The apartments are big and roomy, and the walk-in closets (if you have one) are huge. Each apartment has a large screened-in porch -- great to enjoy the wooded views from. Very pretty pool area. My rent didn't go up when I renewed my lease, or when I went to month-to-month. Very easy access to the beltline, and right behind Crossroads Shopping Center.

To sum up: reasonably priced, roomy apartments, beautiful surroundings, very attentive management, quiet neighbors, convenient shopping... I wouldn't live anywhere else in Raleigh.
