I agree with most that the manager at this complex is totally unprofessional. She has pets in her home/office that walk around her desk while she's prepping paperwork! Furthermore, when I moved in, I was promised that my unit would be cleaned and ready top move in on Saturday two weeks from the day I signed the lease. I called every 2 - 3 business days to check and she assured me that everything would be ok and that the final touches and paint were being done on the Friday before te move. Of course when I got to the apartment late Friday night afterwork to do some last minute inspecting, there was food in the cabinets, dishes in the sink, no light bulbs anywhere, the worst patch-up paint job I had ever seen, carpets were filtyh, there was trash all over the apartment, and there was even still dirty old mattresses in the master bedroom. The maintenance crew that came in the following morning said it happens all the time and that they were only notified that the apartment needed to be cleaned that morning. I was extremely upset and spent all night trying to clean with cold water(utilities weren't connected yet) and the manager seemed completely unaffected with my complaints. My advice is to not move to Jeffries unless you have a lawyer, plumber, and maid on retainer.
