I've been living in Northgreen for 4 years now. I guess it's an okay place to live for someone just starting out on their own.The rent for a 2 bed 1.5 bath was $425.It just went up to $445 but that's still a little cheaper than other apartments in the area. The apartments are poorly insulated. In the winter with the heat on full blast it's still freezing downstairs but like hell upstairs. In the summer the apartments have a bad bug problem. Although exterminators come pretty regularly, it's not odd to see huge dead cockroaches(they're already dead if you're lucky)on the floor in the kitchen or downstairs bathroom. I've also seen slugs pretty regularly in the kitchen as well.The A/C works well although the City of Rocky Mount light bill is ridiculous even for an apartment. The apartments are pretty old and it shows with the old brown carpeting. I really only moved here because they were the only apartment to accept my wife and I with our credit situation. Mine wasn't good and she had none at all. They'll take just about anybody. People move in and out all the time so apartments are always available. I think I'm on the 4th or 5th neighbor since i moved here.
