Maintenance issues are untrue

After reviewing the harsh comments about the building maintenance, I had to respond. Wellongate is a warm caring community where the people look out for one another, are friendly and have a good relationship with management. True, there were some problems with maintenance which have now been corrected by firing and hiring. We now have two men who are professional, polite, cooperative, friendly, quick to respond to repairs, have a strong work ethic, and clean up after themselves before leaving an apartment. This change was made by the current manager/owner after giving the former mainentance crew an opportunity to improve following numerous complaints. Our manager is a hard working lady, works well with the tenants and staff, is always available during working hours, responds to all our problems, and cares for the tenants with compassion and concern. Tenants that cause trouble or violate lease agreements are evicted. This provides a quiet safe environment, inside and outside the apartments. To the manager, I salute you for handling well all sensitive situations. This is the kind of service you can expect from Wellongate--people who care about their tenants.
