Crazy Landlord - the woman running this place is nuts - everytime I would go in to pay my rent she would try and engage in gossip about the other tenants - I don't have time for that and found it extremely unprofessional. It was nice My husband and I lived there for 6 months . It was a nice apartment, close to everything. I thought the staff was very nice. Rent was a little high but it's high everywhere around that area. Anytime we had something broken they fixed it that day. I loved the area.

Don't move here!!! Great location is not worth the poor management and sub-par facilities. They have rotated trough at least 4 maintenance personnel in the last year and things still are not fixed. Southern Pines has way too much to offer to get tangled up at Tanglewood.

Look elsewhere! Tanglewood has become the slum of Southern Pines. Maintenance is non-existent, the grounds are poorly maintained and Management is extremely complacent. Tanglewood is advertised as luxury apartments and I guess if your last place was the park bench, it is luxury!
